March 14, 2009 - The Legend of the Free Kick
Dare I say it... we may be a enjoying a real good-old "early" spring here in Montreal! The snow is gone, pale garbage covers the streets (at least in my neighbourhood) and the dog shit is reeking. However, it ain't over till it's over - and the weather hasn't exactly been monotonous so far this winter. So I am not going to be surprised by anything Mother Nature may have in her trick bag.

Still, we at the Freekick fully support the current pro-active approach to seasonal change, and are doing everything in our power as DJs to hasten the coming of spring - for example, by devoting last weekend's show to a ritual celebration of the fertile musical imagination, featuring the creative forces of artists like:
