This edition of
Free Kick featured more than a couple of pieces of film music, including the title themes from
The Glass Key and Kenji Mizoguchi's
Ugetsu (recently rereleased on DVD, this treasure features an exceptionally great soundtrack, with music by Fumio Hayasaka).
I'm liking this concept, so expect to hear more soundtrack stuff in the future!
