Tropicalia! Though I played a lot of other great music on last Saturday night's show, the late 60s tracks from artists like Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa and Os Mutantes are particular favourites of mine. Most of these recordings feature the beguiling orchestrations of producer extraordinaire Rogerio Duprat - who, sadly, passed away on October 25.
